Larry Winston joined IST in 2005 after 30 years with the Los Angeles Police Department, starting in 1975.

 

During his 30 years of service, Larry developed extensive expertise as a detective investigating narcotics, robbery, burglary, auto theft, juvenile, and sex crimes.

 

Larry also has six years experience as an undercover detective in the department’s Intelligence division and the last seventeen years as a member of the Lost Angeles Police Department’s elite special investigation section (S.I.S.).

 

Larry’s extensive experience has enabled him to instruct many West Coast agencies and specialized Military units in covert surveillance techniques and tactical arrest procedures of armed suspects.
