James has been with  IST since 1997.

 

He has more than 20 years experience as research and development engineer; 15 years experience in designing and manufacturing law enforcement covert surveillance equipment; 10 years experience in teaching various surveillance equipment operation and technology courses at the National Intelligence Academy (NIA).

 

James has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest.

 

He has published scientific articles at seven international symposiums hosted by the International Federation on the Theory of Machines and Mechanisms (IFTOMM).

 

James received military training in Europe (discharged as 2^nd Lieutenant).

 

Current and former memberships in the Australian Institution of Engineers, German Institution of Engineers, International Associations of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (IABTI), International Association of Criminal Investigators (IACI), South Florida Crime Commission.
