All About International Surveillance Technology

International Surveillance Technology (IST) Inc. Headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, designs and manufactures man-portable and vehicular surveillance platforms and surveillance-related microwave systems, IP camera systems and many other surveillance related systems as well as other specialized law enforcement vehicles for Federal, State, County and Local Law Enforcement Agencies/Departments, the Global Law Enforcement Community, and Military Units Worldwide. IST is the United State's leading provider of vehicular surveillance platforms and related products to federal investigative and intelligence-gathering agencies.

IST has three operating divisions:

1. International Surveillance Technology (IST) is our parent company and the leading provider of surveillance system to the US federal government’s investigative and intelligence-gathering agencies and to State, County and Local PDs across the country. Vehicular based, man-portable, body-wire, microwave-based, Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and communications among others. IST provides a wide range of other law enforcement specialized vehicles such as Mobile Command Centers, Mobile Evidence Collection Laboratories, EOD/Bomb Trucks, SWAT Vehicles and more.

IST also provides a full range of service & support capabilities in order to maintain your equipment in peak operating condition. Headquartered in Lorton, VA, just outside of Washington DC, is our 8,000 square foot service, support and sales facility. Designed to accommodate the unique needs of our DC-centric customer base, this facility provides periodic, annual and other service, sales and training to our federal, state, county and local customers in the area. Available 24/7 our service & support team is there to help.


2. The National Intelligence Academy (NIA) is a division of IST. Its charter is to offer specialized law enforcement oriented investigative, intelligence-gathering and military training unavailable elsewhere. Topics include audio and video investigation techniques; microwave systems; covert lock neutralization/system placement; digital enhancement; Undercover Operations; Extremist-Terrorism; Management of Covert Operations and many others. NIA has trained thousands of law enforcement officers/agents and military operatives. Classes are held in locations across the country (FL, VA and others) and can be brought to your facility as well.


3. Vizion Surveillance Systems (VSS) is also a division of IST and a leading provider of CCTV systems for high-profile structures/facilities. VSS has provided video surveillance systems to the Port of Tampa, The Forum Office Complex, NASA, countless police department interview rooms, federal buildings and others. VSS provides comprehensive products, as well as design and implementation services across a broad spectrum of fixed installations.

IST has more than 50 full-time employees, with a comprehensive, professional engineering staff. Our engineers have expertise in electromechanical design, radio frequency (RF) engineering, Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and systems, PICO Nets, vehicular integration, audio/video systems, software development, RF antenna configurations, and mechanical design. IST prides itself on manufacturing all of its products to the highest quality standards in its 11,000 square foot facility located in Deerfield Beach.
